Brooklyn, N.Y.-based American indie rock outfit Big Thief have announced they’ll be spending much of the winter/spring of 2023 touring across the U.S. before heading across the pond for shows in the United Kingdom and Europe.
The ensemble, comprised of Adrianne Lenker, Buck Meek, Max Oleartchik, and James Krivchenia, have had an electric year with the success of their critically acclaimed album Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe In You, which was released on Feb. 11, 2021. During the album’s roll-out, the band performed on television, making stops at respected programs like The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, and The Late Late Show with James Corden.
Big Thief will kick off their 2023 tour at Higher Ground in Burlington, Vt. on Jan. 31, from there they’ll stop in cities across the U.S., including Philadelphia, Nashville, Tenn., Austin, Texas, New Orleans,, Atlanta, Asheville, N.C., and more. for their final show stateside, they’ll perform at the iconic Radio City Music Hall in New York on March 2. Following their show in New York, they’ll head to the United Kingdom with performances in Gateshead, Edinburgh, Manchester, and a two-night stand in London. They then bounce around Europe with sets in Germany, Spain, the Netherlands, and Italy. Their final performance in Europe will take place at LAV in Lisbon, Portugal.
