GAMERS often use Twitch as a free alternative to streaming, as there is no subscription required to watch your favourite influencers.
However, a new Twitch offer will let users have their cake and eat it too, as watching their favourite streamers can net them three months’ worth of a popular streaming service.
If you are a frequent Twitch viewer you will know about gift subs, which are a way to support your favourite streamers by giving another viewer a subscription to their stream.
Subscriptions are not mandatory in order to watch a streamer but offer a number of benefits including ad-free viewing and access to that streamer’s custom emotes.
Anyone who gives a gift subscription in anyone’s stream between July 30, and August 19 will receive a free three month subscription to Apple TV+.
Apple TV+ is one of the more popular TV and movie streaming services and includes popular shows like Severance, and Ted Lasso.
However, there are two other ways that people can grab a free three-month subscription to Apple TV+.
PlayStation owners can claim an Apple TV+ subscription by downloading the app on either their PS4 or PS5.
For the PlayStation offer you will need to sign up to Apple TV+ via the console’s app but once subscribed you can use it on other devices.
The final way to redeem the three-month free offer is by purchasing an Apple TV device which comes with a free three month subscription.
Apple TV+ costs £8.99/$9.99 a month, so you’ll be able to save £26.97/$29.97 by picking any of these offers up.
It should be noted that all of these are a rolling subscription, meaning that if you claim the offer your subscription will automatically renew following the trial period.
If you don’t wish to continue with your Apple TV+ subscription after the free trial ends, you should set a reminder to cancel the subscription during the final month.
