Twitch streamer Fenom finally unbanned one year after snapping at relentless stalker

American streamer and Counter-Strike player ‘Fenom’ is finally back on Twitch after getting banned from the platform a year and three months ago.

Fenom is a fairly prominent streamer on Twitch, where he boasts over 20K followers who tune in to watch his Counter-Strike broadcasts — and his crash-outs toward other players.

However, one of these explosive streams ended up getting him banned from the platform after he got a bit too heated toward a viewer harassing him.

Why was Fenom banned on Twitch?

In November 2023, Fenom was broadcasting some Counter-Strike when he popped off on a chatter who had repeatedly harassed him with inappropriate remarks and insulting comments despite receiving multiple permabans as punishment for his messages.

Finally, Fenom had enough and went nuclear on the viewer, who retaliated by reporting him to Twitch, alleging the streamer had threatened them.

In response, Twitch banned Fenom’s account for six months before extending his suspension to twelve months, leaving the streamer frustrated at the platform’s response to his situation.

“He came in here, he started sh*t with me. I gave him the business. He spam-reported me. He got what he wanted. He’s getting entertained,” he explained after his ban.

“…I have this guy who’s been following my channel for three years now, one of my own viewers came in here sh*t-talking me, stream sniping me, making my life miserable. …he’s saying sh*t to me. Why can’t I trash-talk?”

Since then, Fenom has continued to stream on Kick to a comparatively smaller audience… but on March 18, he was finally reinstated on Twitch a year and three months after he was first suspended.

Thus far, he hasn’t publicly commented on the unban, which comes after a few major changes Twitch implemented toward permanently banned accounts.

In February 2025, the platform allowed violations to have expiry dates instead of being indefinitely held against streamers’ accounts. On top of this, streamers whose accounts were permanently banned for multiple violations are now able to appeal and even apply for reinstatement after six months.

It seems that Twitch had mercy on Fenom’s account, given what transpired over a year ago — and thanks to the site’s ban adjustments, other top streamers who have been permabanned, such as Adin Ross, are working with the company in hopes of being reinstated, as well.
