Twenty One Pilots announce Latin America festival tour

Ohio duo Twenty One Pilots are coming out of their downtime to play festivals in Argentina, Brazil, Chili, Colombia, Mexico and Paraguay this spring, replacing Blink 182.

On Twitter the certified gold band announced ‘Josh and I were asked to fill a slot on five festivals in South America and one in Mexico. Not many things could bring us out of down time, but the opportunity to play for some of the best music fans in the world is definitely one of them. We are humbled and we will bring it |-/’

Twenty One Pilots this spring will be playing at Lollapalooza in Chile, Argentina and Brazil, Asuncionico in Paraguay, Estero Picnic in Colombia and will finish in Mexico at Tecate Pa’l Norte.

The band are replacing Blink 182, drummer Travis Barker has an injury to his fingers which he has recently had surgery on, the band have cancelled their March and April concerts.

18th March: Lollapalooza, Buenos Aires

19th March: Lollapalooza, Chile

21st March: Asuncionico, Paraguay

23rd March: Estereo Picnic, Bogota

25th March: Lollapalooza, Sao Paulo

1st April: Tecate Pa’l Norte, Monterrey

Twenty One Pilots rounded out a week of special shows in London last year with a gigantic and atmosphere performance at London’s Wembley Arena. We can’t wait to see what this tour brings.
