An Australian journalist has taken a shot at Ben Affleck by revealing the 51-year-old is the least favorite interviewee she’s ever had.
Sarah Ferguson, a renowned journalist in Australia, named Ben Affleck as someone who is “quite high up” on her list of the worst interviews she’s ever conducted because he was “rude, not interested, and going through the motions.”
Ferguson interviewed Affleck ahead of the release of his 2023 film Air, which he directed and starred in.
Recently freed Wikileaks founder Julian Assange tops her list of interview targets for 7.30 and she would also like to get Boris Johnson and Benjamin Netanyahu on the show. Affleck finds himself in all too familiar of a position as he’s at the center of entertainment gossip blogs due to his pending divorce from Jennifer Affleck, whom he has spent the last two years with in a “fever dream” marriage.
While Affleck and Lopez have yet to get officially divorced, the pair are reportedly not on speaking terms and have not been seen together in months.
As for why the couple are getting divorced, Affleck himself has said that the attention that comes with Lopez can be overwhelming at times. Meanwhile, Suge Knight has proposed the conspiracy theory that Affleck received explicit videos of Lopez from her time dating Diddy that the FBI obtained when raiding his home earlier this year.
Earlier this week, it was also reported that Affleck and his best buddy/producing partner Matt Damon are developing a film about Hulk Hogan’s lawsuit against Gawker, with Affleck reportedly set to play Hogan and Damon tapped to star as Peter Thiel.
Lopez, meanwhile, has a movie set to premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September — Unstoppable, about the life of champion one-legged wrestler Anthony Robles — that was produced by Affleck’s company.
