Travis Kelce managed to throw shade at two of Taylor Swift’s many exes recently, with Joe Alwyn seemingly taking the brunt of it.

The three-time Super Bowl champ recently appeared on the Bussin’ With the Boys podcast, where he dished about his many spinning plates.

In addition to discussing his football career, Travis also opened up about his high-profile romance with his billionaire pop queen girlfriend. “You guys have done a decent job of keeping it private,” one of the podcast hosts pointed out.

“Yeah, and it’s like… you want to keep things private but at the same time, I’m not here to hide anything. That’s my girl, you know what I mean? That’s my lady, so… I’m proud of that,” Travis gushed.

Travis seemed to be putting his playbook up against one of Taylor’s more recent exes, Joe Alwyn.

Taylor and Joe were together for six years. However, in a striking contrast to Travis Kelce and Swift’s constant public displays, Joe Alwyn seemed to prefer maintaining a very private romance. They were seldom seen together and rarely spoke about each other.

Of course, Travis Kelce has absolutely no problem with being in the spotlight 24/7.

“I’m not sitting here trying to juggle, like, ‘How can I keep this under wraps?’ You just don’t want to let everybody into your personal life and be able to comment on it knowing that everything she does is getting a headline,” Travis added.

It took no time for word to reach legions of Swifties that Kecle may have passingly referenced Alwyn. Swift’s fans flooded the comments to the podcast’s Youtube post.

Many fans were impressed that Travis managed to potentially reference Taylor’s song “But Daddy I Love Him”.

‘“That’s my girl, that’s my lady”,’ one fan wrote before adding lyrics to the 2024 tune. ‘“Now I’m dancing in my dress in the sun and even my daddy just loves him. I’m his lady, and oh my God You should see your faces.”’, they wrote, before adding “IM SOBBING.”

“Travis saying: “That’s my girl” killed me. The cutest thing!”, another fan exclaimed.”How he talks about Taylor is so genuine and sweet🥹 and how he is open to talking about her and not trying to hide their relationship is absolutely everything,” a third fan added.

Meanwhile, Alwyn managed to recently open up about his impossibly high-profile breakup without lazily referencing Swift’s lyrics or insulting anyone.

“That is a hard thing to navigate,” Joe admitted to The Sunday Times Style Magazine. “What is unusual and abnormal in this situation is that, one week later, it’s suddenly in the public domain and the outside world is able to weigh in.”
