Alabama, Travis Barker’s teen daughter, has hopped on the celebrity bandwagon and joined the weight-loss medication craze.
The veteran drummer and Shanna Moakler’s 18-year-old daughter recently confessed to using weight loss medication in a selfie-style video where she was seen applying makeup.
“I have, like, this thing where I photograph so ugly, and people are like, ‘Oh, my God — you’re so fat, and you’re so ugly,’” Alabama said in the footage.
“And it’s, like, I see what you guys are seeing, but just, like, meet me in person. I feel like I don’t look like that,” she continued.
However, she contradicted herself in her very next sentence. “But I’m on weight-loss medication because I’m tired of being fat and photographing like a damn ogre.”
Alabama did not disclose the medication she is taking.

Meanwhile, denizens of TikTok overwhelmingly supported Travis Barker’s daughter. While some gently pushed back on her taking weight loss drugs at such a young age, many understood the pressure of looking a certain way for social media.
The top comment to the TikTok post read, “she’s too young to be on weight loss medication.” Another onlooker was simply green with envy. “I want to go on loss meds too but they wouldn’t give me any. I want to scream,” they wrote.
“Alabama is literally so beautiful like whatttt,” another fan wrote. “I hate she feels this way about herself,” they added. “She’s literally so gorgeous and doesn’t even know it,” yet another fan agreed.
Still, other denizens of the internet simply understood what it’s like to have trolls. “Swear we are our own biggest haters because she is absolutely beautiful,” one TikToker wrote. “I am in the same position right now sadly, so many of my followers [have] been commenting on my weight,” another fan added.
Recently, Alabama pushed back with style at an Instagram user who claimed she’d had “plastic surgery on everything” after she posted some bikini pictures.

Travis Barker has two children, Landon and Alabama, with ex-wife Shanna Moakler, and is stepfather to Atiana, Moakler’s daughter with Oscar De La Hoya. He is currently married to Kourtney Kardashian, who has three children with ex Scott Disick. They welcomed their son, Rocky Thirteen, in November.
