Tory Lanez calls Adin Ross “my real brother” in prison phone call during 10-year sentence

On February 28, Tory Lanez appeared on the NELK Boys’ Full Send Podcast through a phone call from prison. While serving his 10-year sentence for shooting Megan Thee Stallion, the Canadian singer and rapper expressed his gratitude to Adin Ross for standing by him compared to others.

As mentioned by host Kyle Forgeard in the clip posted to Twitter/X, the Kicks streamer appeared on the podcast a week prior wearing a “Free Tory” t-shirt and backing him. When Tory was asked about “all the support” he’s been receiving, he praised him:

“Adin, I love that kid man. That’s my real brother, you know what I’m saying? What people don’t understand about me and Adin is we both have these weird behind the scenes, we have these f**ked up upbringings and we’ve been there for each other at times that other people aren’t.

“I really love Adin, bro, that’s my brother. I really cry real tears about Adin as far as him being a person that represented me so hard. That s**t means so much to me, bro.”

He added: “The reason why I respect Adin because regardless of all the gangster n***s… It’s like, all those people were scared, they were scared to say how they truly felt.

“Because they come to me and we have hour-long conversations on how we all feel like, ‘Yo, we know you are innocent because oof this, that, and this, and they’re screaming and crying and saying ‘I can’t believe they’ve got you like this.’ But, when it comes to public time it’s like nobody is saying what they really feel.”

After Tory Lanez was charged for the shooting of Megan Thee Stallion at the end of 2022, he defended his “favorite rapper” in January of the following year on the NELK Boys’ Full Send Podcast.

He has continued to stand by him, including when replying in support of the rapper after Megan posted a viral TikTok on September 18 in the same year.
