As is traditional, from April 24 to May 4, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival returned to the Fair Grounds Race Course for its 53rd annual offering of live music and cultural entertainment aimed at honoring the Crescent City’s diverse and authentic creative capacity.
The typical two-weekend format yielded exemplary performances, featuring talent from tier one acts like Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, and Carlos Santana, as well as fellow masters of the craft and regional experts such as Irma Thomas, Trombone Shorty, Tank and the Bangas, and many more.
