TODAY’S Jill Martin has broken down in tears over her new makeover amid her cancer battle.
In a series of Instagram Stories, Jill, 47, opened up about wearing a new wig and fake eyelashes.
During the series, the Today contributor pointed the camera at the collection of different styled wigs.
She admitted: “This is very hard and strange. But I’ll make believe I’m playing dress-up.”
As the series continued, the NBC star filmed herself during a taxi car ride.
She pointed out her missing eyelashes and shared: “Some of you are asking if I lost my eyelashes, and eyebrows, which I did.
“I mean, I was told that would happen.”
Jill showed off her sense of humor and joked: “But as my mother said, you can draw your eyebrows!”
The Fashion for Dummies coauthor filmed herself as she burst into tears while trying on the blonde wig.
She wiped away her tears and cried: “This looks like me, right? I can style it. It’s fine.”
After the makeover was completed, the fashion expert styled her blonde strands and flaunted her new lashes.
Jill smiled at the camera and concluded: “The good thing is I can’t cry anymore because I have eyelashes on.
“This is what she looked like after. Been through a lot to get to this point.
She ended: “I’m pretty happy with it.”
Jill’s posts came after she revealed she lost about 30 percent of her hair.
‘AN EARTH ANGEL’
In mid-October, the TV star shared how she was feeling about the hair loss and the drastic changes that came with the chemotherapy.
She mentioned being able to keep her remaining strands through Cold Capping, which freezes the hair follicles.
Jill revealed: “With cold capping, you cannot scrub your scalp, because the hair is hanging on for dear life.”
She continued: “It was getting all knotty because you could only comb it once a day and you have to use water and pour it over your head, which I’m going to show you, but this is an appreciation post for Patricia at 27 Hampton.
“She has been an earth angel for me in that my hair gets so knotted, I have to keep it in braids.
“We came up with that so that it keeps the knots out, so that’s why you see me in braids all the time – and when I go on the air, I just take the braids out.”
Jill closed: “Cold capping is not easy, but for me, it has been worth it. Four chemos down…four to go.”
During the summer, the TV personality revealed she was diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer.
