TODAY Show host Hoda Kotb has announced her upcoming children’s book Hope is a Rainbow.
The illustrated book is based on her daughter, Hope, and is the fourth children’s book Hoda has written.
The Today host took to Instagram to announce the exciting news.
She said: “Okay, I have a surprise – I’ve kept it close to the vest, but not anymore.”
“Hope is a Rainbow!” Hoda exclaimed.
She said: “It’s a book and it’s out March 5 and I’m so excited.”
“It’s gonna make your kids feel like the clouds are going to part and life can be beautiful again,” Hoda continued.
The morning show host stated: “It will give kids that life lesson and grown-ups too.”
She then urged her fans to preorder the book.
AN INSPIRATION
Hoda based the book off of her daughter she adopted in 2019.

When she first announced the book on Today, Hoda said: ““My daughter Hope is so inspiring to me.
“She’s a little child, but with a real kind of old spirit, an old soul.
“There’s something about her in how she sees magic in everything,” she concluded.
Hoda explained Hope has loved rainbows since she was a baby and shared that hope “is a feeling.”
DATING DEETS
She adopted Hope and her eldest Haley back when she was still dating her then-fiancé Joel Schiffman.
Recently on Today, Jenna Bush Hager asked Hoda what her dating life was looking like.
“How do you find dating in New York City?” Jenna asked her co-host.
“Well, I’ve only gone on two dates since,” Hoda replied, referring to her split.
“I think it’s time for us to change that,” Jenna said.
“Are you about to reveal something right now?” Hoda asked, looking around.
“No,” Jenna assured.
“Come on out, Bill! What?!” she joked, mimicking an announcer.
Jenna clarified she wasn’t going to bring anyone out, adding, “I just think it’s time for us to change that for you.”
“There are a lot of people who are entering new and exciting chapters, and these are all exciting chapters, so I agree with that,” Hoda said before moving on from the segment.
