“The coolest thing I ever did was welcome my baby Lily into this world with my wife, Jessica,” Allen said in a video.

“She was five weeks old when she passed away at midnight. I have cried every tear I can possibly cry…it’s not easy.

“I don’t wish this on anybody.”

Allen said he waited a week to “even mention it” because he didn’t know how to talk about the news.

He called on his fans to donate to the Children’s Medical Center Dallas in his daughter’s name if they want to do anything to help.

“Or just go hug your little ones. Squeeze them tight for me,” said Allen.

Lily’s memorial service will be on August 6, according to Allen, however, he asked people to not show up if they weren’t invited.

“But if you want to send flowers or a card, I guess you can do that too.”

Several fans were quick to share their condolences to the family.

“No parent should ever outlive their child,” wrote one person. “I’m so sorry, man.”

“I can’t begin to fathom the range of emotions that you and Jess are going through,” wrote another person.

“This is immensely difficult to hear. May light perpetual shine upon her.”

A third person wrote: “Omg my heart is just shattered for you both. Sending you both as much healing energy and love as possible.”

“I’m so sorry…no parent should ever have to endure that,” wrote a fourth person.

“I’ll be thinking of you and your family. Sending good vibes.”
