Thousands of hot dogs ruined after Pennsylvania car wreck leads to glizzy catastrophe

A large truck hauling over a thousand pounds of frozen hot dogs was involved in a massive road accident in Pennsylvania, resulting in a massive trail of dogs being thrown onto the asphalt.

While the actual cause of the road accident is being investigated, what can be ascertained from images on the scene is that the 18-wheeler got shoved against the highway median.

As a result, the side of the trailer got torn open like a can of sardines, resulting in a massive trail of hot dogs that almost completely covered the road.

The wreckage was so massive that the interstate had to get closed down while first responders helped those injured to safety and cleaned up the road.

News station Local 21 got their hands on some footage and pictures from the scene just after the wreck, showing the massive mess that remained in the aftermath of the wreck.

Hot dogs were strewn for literal hundreds of feet down the road, almost completely covering both lanes at some points. Before the road was closed down completely, people had to drive slightly off the road to get clear of the dogs.

Additionally, someone driving by captured the side of the truck that spilled all this cargo, showing the destruction that caused so much food to get thrown across the road.

Four hospitalizations have been reported at the time of writing. Though the condition of those involved is yet unknown, everyone involved in the accident survived.

The road has since been cleaned up and is now open.

Oddly enough, this isn’t the first Pennsylvania road incident involving food exploding across the road in recent times, with mozzarella cheese getting tossed out of a truck as a result of a traffic accident in early July.
