‘This is insane’ people say as influencer puts on a FULL face of make-up whilst 10cm dilated

A WOMAN has left people totally stunned after she put on a full face of make-up just moments before giving birth.

Kylen Suttner, an influencer from the US, was preparing to welcome her second child into the world, but wanted to ensure that she looked stunning for the big moment.

Whilst wearing a gown and lying in a hospital bed at 10cm dilated, Kylen made sure to apply her foundation, concealer, cream contour, blusher and eyebrow gel, despite feeling incredibly nauseous.

Kylen posted her short clip on social media with the caption ‘Anyone else get SO nauseous right before pushing?’, leaving many open-mouthed.

The content creator then revealed that she was “almost 10cm dilated” so was “getting ready.”

She explained that she was using her phone as a mirror, as she meant to take a proper mirror to the hospital, but forgot.

As she contoured her cheeks and forehead, she shared: “I’m starting to feel a lot of pressure down there, like I need a poo – and I guess that means, baby time?”

She then applied concealer to her under eyes and added: “Baby’s heart rate keeps dropping, which is lovely, because that’s the reason I had to have a C-section last time, and it was very traumatising, so I’m really hoping it stops dropping.

“This is my second baby, but first time attempting to deliver vaginally, so I’m really scared.”

The influencer, who also had a fresh set of blue acrylic nails for the occasion, quickly applied some eyebrow gel, as she continued: “Really trying to finish my make-up before the nurse comes back in, so not gonna fill in the brows.”

To finish off her birth make-up look, Kylen applied some bronzer to her nose and eyelids, as she continued: “I can literally feel that he is so low. I feel like any minute they’re gonna come in here and be like ‘it’s time’. Wish me luck.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @kylensuttner, has clearly left many totally stunned, as it has quickly gone viral and racked up a jaw-dropping 5.9 million views in just two days.

BIG DIVIDE

But social media users were left totally divided by the brunette beauty’s make-up routine.

How do women’s figures change after giving birth?

TO SAY the body changes during pregnancy and childbirth is an understatement.

Throughout the nine months it takes for the body to bring a baby into the world, it goes through some huge physical changes.

Considering how different the body looks during pregnancy, it’s not surprising that there are some lasting changes.

And it some ways, it never does, Doctor Rachel Ward, a GP at Woodlands Medical Centre, Derby, said.

1. Wider ribcage and hips

“During pregnancy in order to accommodate a growing baby and prepare for giving birth, our body produces a hormone called relaxin,” she explained.

Relaxin works by increasing the flexibility and movement in our joints and ligaments.

“Many women find that after pregnancy the shape of their pelvis and ribcage remains different,” Dr Rachel said.

It is common to need a different bra size due to a change in chest circumference, the expert said.

“This is a reminder of the changes your body made to accommodate your baby and is nothing to be worried about,” she added.

2. Change in skin colour

During pregnancy, most women experience skin changes as it stretches to accommodate your bump and enlarging breasts.

“It is not uncommon to develop stretch marks.

“Though they will often fade over time and become a shiny pale colour, depending on your skin tone they will not go away completely,” Dr Rachel said.

“Some people do not like the way stretch marks look but they are an incredibly common change that we see in many people,” she added.

3. A change in breast shape

Breasts increase in size during pregnancy as the breast tissue prepares to produce milk.

And shortly after birth they will start to produce milk and become swollen, Dr Ward explained.

“If you choose to breast feed or not, it is likely that the shape, size and way your breasts look and feel will be different after pregnancy compared to before,” she added.

“This is not a problem but it is important that we do learn what the new normal is for our breasts so we can stay breast aware and pick up and changes that could be cancer.”

Whilst some confessed that they too would do the same, many thought it was ‘insane’ and ‘wrong’.

One beauty fan beamed: “Yes. Glam up girl.”

Why would you need make-up to give birth? This is so wrong

Whilst a second chimed in: “Lol the make-up before would be me.”

However, at the same time, not everyone was on board, as one person said: “The last thing I had in mind was getting make-up on.”
