Bad Omens frontman Noah Sebastian has told us about how Bring Me The Horizon have inspired him over the years and why he is so excited to tour alongside them.
We recently caught up with Noah as Bad Omens were named Best International Artist for the 2023 Rock Sound Awards Issue. He reflected on some of his biggest musical inspirations including BMTH:
“Bring Me The Horizon are such an influential band in a way that goes beyond just the music itself, but in the way they approach creativity; finding where that line is for what the majority of your fans expect or predict from bands that are rooted in heavy music, and then just totally stepping over it as far as you can. They’re really inspirational to me to this day, especially in the way they approach and think about music.”
Noah also spoke about why getting to support the band on their UK arena run feels extra special:
“Yeah, that’s a huge, huge feat, especially in the UK, a place where we are so far away from playing in venues like that. The fact that we get to do it with them of all bands, it’s kind of a full circle thing just with all the Bring Me the Horizon jokes and comparisons we’ve had for the early part of our career. I think it’s really cool because I love everything they do musically. I respect them a lot. I got to know them recently. I met some of them when they played in LA.”
Bring Me The Horizon will begin their arena tour tomorrow night (January 09) in Cardiff. Alongside Bad Omens, support will come from Cassyette and Static Dress.
