Fall Out Boy have just hit another set of milestones in the US, with five songs hitting new Platinum-level certifications.
As of this week (November 06), RIAA reports that ‘Uma Thurman’ from the 2015 album ‘American Beauty/American Psycho’ is certified 3x Platinum with 3 million certified units. Meanwhile, ‘Irresistible’, the opening track from that album, is 2x Platinum and ‘Centuries’ is now 8x Platinum. The latter single reached No.10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart upon its release back in 2014.
Elsewhere, ‘Immortals’, which is taken from the soundtrack to Disney’s ‘Big Hero 6’, has reached 4x Platinum level.
And finally, a classic from their back catalogue has also reached new heights with ‘I Don’t Care’, from ‘Folie à Deux’, is now 2x Platinum.
What a banger.
In other FOB news, the band have just been announced as one of the headliners of Download Festival 2024 alongside Queens Of The Stone Age and Avenged Sevenfold.
