The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that another familiar face will pop back up on the CBS soap. Thad Luckinbill is set to reprise his role as J.T. Hellstrom, so look for him to make a brief Y&R appearance on Tuesday, May 2.
That’s when Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) ex will get a tempting new offer.
It sounds like Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) will work her magic and put J.T.’s contact info in Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) hands.
Next, Elena will get in touch with J.T. via video call and make a pitch about the medical podcast she’s hoping to do.
Y&R spoilers say Elena will play up all the people they could help by bringing awareness to brain tumors and their effects.
Elena may act like J.T. is an inspiration since he overcame his past issues and built a new life for himself, but J.T. may disagree.
There’s a good chance J.T. still battles a great deal of guilt over his violent, abusive behavior – even though he wasn’t in his right mind at the time.
Elena will still hope J.T. is willing to speak on her medical podcast and share his story, but he may have concerns about how Victoria would feel about this news.
The last thing J.T. would ever want to do is dredge up painful memories or hurt Victoria in any way, so it’s easy to see why he’d worry about that.
Nevertheless, Elena may act like Victoria would love to hear from J.T. and would support the idea of him helping others on the show.
Perhaps Elena will even urge J.T. to reach out to Victoria himself and touch base with her on the topic.
Victoria and J.T. were madly in love once upon a time, so Elena will hope to bring him back to Genoa City and rekindle things for the old flames.
That would keep Victoria’s mind on J.T. instead of Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), but it doesn’t look like this plan is going to work out.
If Elena can’t get J.T. on board, she may have to tackle the problem from a different angle.
Of course, the problem could be solved another way if Elena ultimately dumps Nate for cheating!
