The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) will be sticking around in Genoa City for now. James Hyde revealed that TPTB extended his contract. The actor teased that his storyline will last, at least, through February sweeps.
Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has a bucket of secrets. Jeremy knows many of them, so she has kept him away from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Jack offered Jeremy $1 million to leave town and forget his connection to Diane. But Jeremy refused the offer.
Y&R spoilers say that Jeremy wants something else from Diane, which has nothing to do with stacks of cash.
The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Diane will continue to work Jack, trying her best to keep him in protection mode.
Jack wants to shield her from any more harassment from Stark. He only knows what Diane told him. He believes Jeremy poses a significant risk to Diane’s safety.
The problem is that the viewers don’t believe that Diane fears Jeremy.
The only time she exhibits fear is in the presence of Jack and Kyle. Otherwise, she appears relaxed and in control when she is around Stark.
We can expect to see him more often with Hyde’s contract extended.
Perhaps, he will interact with other characters or chat with Phyllis Summer (Michelle Stafford) about Diane’s time in Los Angeles.
It’s possible Jeremy’s connection to Diane is more profound than anyone knows.
Of course, Diane minimized her relationship with Stark to Jack. That was her intent so she could worm back into his life and, well…his bed.
There has to be a bigger element to the story that we don’t know yet. Diane may have knowingly committed money laundry. But that wouldn’t be shocking.
There must be a bigger secret that could destroy her relationship with Jack.
The only thing that makes sense is she is Jeremy’s wife. That would also explain why she didn’t testify against Jeremy in court, as she could have exercised spousal privilege.
If Diane and Jeremy are married, it will throw Jack for a loop. He would have to admit that Diane lied to him, forcing him to wonder what else she could be hiding.
