The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) has a new story coming up that’ll finally get her away from the coffeehouse! Y&R fans have been desperate to see Sharon branch out and finally get some dramatic material, so there’s good news to report.
Sharon will indeed be part of a major storyline that involves a surprising threat from the past.
This threat will resurface and drag Sharon into some drama, so she’ll rely on Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) in this time of crisis.
In a recent interview with The TV Watercooler, Sharon Case also mentioned the return of a mysterious character.
Case couldn’t divulge who it was, but she did confirm that this character’s comeback was happening soon.
This might be an excellent time for Cameron Kristen (Linden Ashby) to show up for revenge, so let’s talk about Sharon’s history with him.
Cameron had a shocking storyline that ran from 2003-2004, which started with Sharon trying to hide their tryst from Nick.
When things took a violent turn, Sharon attacked Cameron with a Champagne bottle and thought he was dead.
After Cameron survived and ultimately returned, he “haunted” Sharon for a while and caused plenty of emotional distress.
Cameron later killed Frank Barritt (Phil Dozois), who was Cassie Newman’s (Camryn Grimes biological father, but Sharon wound up being the top suspect in the investigation.
Although Cameron planned to whisk Sharon away to hide out on a private island, Nick snuck on the plane and launched a confrontation that resulted in all three parachuting down into a cornfield.
Cameron was eventually arrested for his crimes, but it’s possible that he’ll be the threat that resurfaces for Sharon.
This is certainly a story that would pull Nick and Sharon closer – though new Y&R spoilers say Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will be part of the action ahead as well.
Of course, we should mention that Linden Ashby portrays Cameron Kristen – and he happens to be the real-life husband of Susan Walters (Diane Jenkins).
It’s easy to imagine Walters’ return to the show leading to conversations about her hubby’s return, too.
Whatever the case, Sharon has a juicy story in the works, so Cameron Kristen could easily target her for revenge!
