The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Jai Rodriguez has joined the cast of Y&R, so let’s talk about his new role as Pietro the party planner. Us Weekly reports Rodriguez will be part of a four-episode arc and that his first airdate will be on May 28.

It turns out the Newman clan will hire Pietro to help them make sure this shindig is an event to remember.
The party will be in honor of Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) upcoming birthday, so Victor will want to make sure everything is perfect for his love.
You can bet Victor will throw in some fun surprises to make Nikki’s night special, so he’ll prove how romantic he can be – even after all these years together.
As for Pietro, he’s apparently a pretty big deal in the party planning industry.
Pietro is the person you call when you want a party done right, so it’s no surprise that he’ll be hired for this hot event.
Jai Rodriguez will make his first appearance in the May 28 episode, but he’ll appear in a total of four shows as part of this guest arc.
It sounds like the Newmans will really pull out all the stops to make sure Nikki celebrates her birthday in style!
You might recognize Rodriguez as one of the original Fab Five members on Bravo’s Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.
Rodriguez previously appeared on All My Children, One Life to Live and Days of Our Lives as well, so this Y&R stint won’t be his first soap rodeo.
