The Word Alive have kickstarted a new era with blistering single ‘Eyes Above’.
Released via Oxide Records, it’s packed full of haunting melodies and explosive instrumentation.
Speaking on ‘Eyes Above’, frontman Telle Smith has shared:
““Eyes Above” was one of the first songs I worked on last summer in Los Angeles on a writing trip… I had the concept lyrically when I went into the studio and knew I wanted to bridge the gap between everything people have come to love about The Word Alive, but taking it up a notch. I felt like this song was a way to celebrate the history of the band, while also ushering in a new era where we are going to show the world we have no intention of slowing down. Hopefully people want to break their necks head banging to this one.”
