‘The Umbrella Academy’ Season 4 Official Trailer Released

A glimpse into the final season of ‘The Umbrella Academy’ has landed, seeing the Hargreeves siblings prepping to band together one last time.

Based on the comic book series of the same name created and written by My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way, the six-episode fourth season of ‘The Umbrella Academy’ will premiere on August 8 via Netflix.

Following the release of the third season in June 2022, the newly released trailer footage – set to the tune of Europe’s 1986 song ‘The Final Countdown’ – sees the family of adopted superhero siblings facing a new challenge: living a normal life.

Check it out below.

As part of Netflix Geeked Week in November 2023, the series cast described the hit show in their own words.

Elliot Page, who plays Viktor Hargreeves, described the series as being full of “excitement, surprises, humour” whilst David Castañeda (Diego Hargreeves) said it was “still very, very wacky”.

Have a watch below as the countdown to season 4 continues.

‘The Umbrella Academy’ first aired in 2019 and sees a somewhat dysfunctional family of adopted siblings with superpowers trying to save the world.

The show was created for Netflix by Steve Blackman and developed by Jeremy Slater, and has since been nominated for numerous Emmys.

As Robert Sheehan (Klaus Hargreeves) has wisely said in his own teaser for the show: “Fans, expect nothing and you will gain everything.”
