UK-bred The New Mastersounds have announced their final US tour. After a 26-year stint of international concert appearances, the band has outlined their last regional gigs across the pond with the TTFN Tour, otherwise known as “Ta-ta for now.”
“We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s supported us and joined us on this incredible journey over the years,” the band imparts via press release. “To say a proper goodbye to you all, we have put together an extensive tour throughout the rest of the year.”
The troupe continued, “We begin the farewell tomorrow [April 16, 2025] in St. Louis, Missouri and it will conclude at our home-away-from-home at Denver’s Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom for two nights of NYE shows on December 30th & 31st. Come join us on this farewell tour and we hope to see you in a city near you!”
According to the band’s schedule, the first leg of their US tour will arrive tomorrow, April 16, and last throughout the month, popping up in the Midwest before the arrival on East Coast appearances and the group’s subsequent arrival in New Orleans for a two-night stand at the House of Blues, April 25-16.
The second round of their massive bank of tour dates picks up in July, beginning with a pair of Big Apple concerts at Blue Note Jazz Club. They will follow up at Albany, N.Y.’s Lark Hall on July 17 before sliding down to the 4848 Festival in Snowshoe, W.Va. After a night in Ohio, the group will arrive at Stephen Talkhouse in Amagansett, N.Y., on July 23, which represents the first in a tight series of Northeastern gigs, which wrap on July 27 in Bridgeport, Conn.
The New Mastersounds will return to the States for a series of West Coast concerts, five dates in California ahead of the group’s two-night run in Seattle and eventually arrival at Portland, Ore.’s Wonder Ballroom on Nov. 11. November continues the band’s time in the States, with more shows popping up throughout the Midwest and East Coast.
The band will close out their US chapter over two nights, December 30 and 31, at their so-called “home away from home,” Denver’s Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom.
