The Glory Star Song Hye-kyo Shares Swimsuit Photo Looking “Cute”

The Glory star Song Hye-kyo got some well-earned rest and relaxation at the beach, and shared some very cute pictures on her Instagram. Hye-kyo, who plays Moon Dong-eun on the Netflix thriller, posted snaps of herself posing on the sand, including one of herself wearing a swimsuit and straw hat. “Cute sis,” a fan commented. Hye-kyo is famous not only for her acting chops but her flawless, glass-like complexion—here’s how she does it.

Hye-kyo makes an effort to stay active in her everyday life, enjoying the health and beauty benefits of regular exercise. “Besides my skincare routine and facials, I’ve tried to exercise more regularly now that I’m in my 30s,” she says. “I do yoga often, and there is the Han River in Seoul that I try to walk or run around as much as I can. I feel like when I’m sweating and exercising, my skin is visibly healthier.”

Hye-kyo doesn’t always have access to professional skincare treatments, so she relies on face masks when she’s on-the-go. “When I’m not working, I go to the dermatologist and receive treatment,” she says. “When I’m filming, I can’t go so I always carry packs or masks around with me and wear them.”

Hye-kyo is the ambassador and muse for Korean beauty brand Sulwhasoo, and swears by their products for her daily beauty routine. “I start with the Concentrated Ginseng Renewing water, move on to the serum, use the cream, and then the mask,” she says. “The next morning, when I wake up, my skin is very firm, moisturized and healthy. Just like all other women, on off-days, I do facials to make sure my skin stays as is. As women get older, changes will come to your face no matter what, so I just try to keep those away with facials and skincare.”

Hye-kyo knows the importance of developing long-term good habits for health and beauty. “I’ve heard of a very good quote. When you take care of your skin in your 20s, you see the results in your 30s. When you do it in your 30s, you reap the rewards in your 40s. I’ve only known about this in my early 30s, and hence, I am doing my best to make sure my 40s shine,” she says.

Hye-kyo swears by using milk as a face wash, which actually has health benefits. “Milk has been used for hundreds of years to infuse the skin and hair with proteins and vitamins,” hairstylist Rebekah Forecast tells Allure. “The calcium and proteins along with the vitamins it contains are very beneficial in our diets, but also as a hair treatment, seeing as milk-based products work to restore natural shine and luster to the hair while strengthening its structure.”
