The first trailer season 17 of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the longest-running live-action sitcom in the history of American television, has been released. The 17th season of Always Sunny will premiere on FXX on Wednesday, July 9.

The trailer for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia’s landmark 17th season not only features the gang of Dennis, Mac, Charlie, Dee and Frank not only getting up to their usual delusional hi-jinx but also making fun of other Disney/FX-owned shows such as The Bachelor — Frank will be a contestant on the show this season — Abbott Elementary, and seemingly The Bear.

While it’s not explicit that the show is making fun of The Bear, given that it’s clowning on other Disney-owned shows such as The Bachelor and Abbott Elementary, and that “Yes, Chef!” was popularized by the hit FX series, the connection feels reasonable.

There’s even a joke about the Hawk Tuah/spit-on-that-thang chick for good measure.

The first episode of It’s Always Sunny‘s 17th season will be The Gang’s half of the crossover with the popular Philadelphia-set ABC sitcom Abbott Elementary, which featured the Always Sunny cast in an episode during its most recent season. The title of the episode is tellingly titled “The Gang F—- Up Abbott Elementary.”

Last year, Danny DeVito jokingly said that season 17 of the beloved long-running comedy series will “really pull out all the stops.”

“We’ve been very tame over the years, so now we can really pull out the stops, you know?” DeVito told Deadline. “Now we can ruffle a few feathers, rattle a few cages, you know, shoot some fireworks.”

It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, which has been renewed through its 18th season, stars the iconic ensemble of Charlie Day, Glenn Howerton, Rob McElhenney, Kaitlin Olson, and Danny DeVito. It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia is now streaming on Hulu and Disney+.
