The Flaming Lips and Modest Mouse have announced a co-headlining tour across the US this summer. The outing kicks off on August 1st in Atlanta, with the two veteran bands making their way across the country with stops in Philadelphia, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, and more. The tour ends on September 11th in Troutdale, Oregon, and Friko and Dehd are set to open select dates.
Tickets go on sale Friday, March 28th at 10:00 a.m. local time, with artist specific pre-sales occurring this Wednesday, March 26th via Ticketmaster.
Prior to their joint outing, both bands will tour separately in the coming months. The Flaming Lips recently kicked off a run of international shows, while Modest Mouse will embark on a run of headlining North American headlining dates in June (get tickets here).
