On Monday, April 8th there will be a total solar eclipse over the United States. You probably already knew that, but have you given much consideration to what the consequences of such an event will be?
No, I’m not referring to the spike in fatal accidents that is almost certain to occur thanks to the eclipse.
I’m talking about how the total solar eclipse is going to cause a glitch in the simulation bringing an end to the world as we know it.
What? That’s not going happen, you say?
Tell that to the numerous folks on social media, especially on TikTok, who think that is exactly what is going to happen on April 8th.
Yes, we did just have a total solar eclipse on August 21, 2017 and the world continued to spin on its axis as normal.
The difference this time is that this total solar eclipse will pass over between six and eight cities named Nineveh in the United States and Canada.
Why is that important?
Well, according to religious scholars, conspiracy theorists and combinations of the two, Nineveh is significant because in the Book of Jonah in the Bible, it was there that God was planning on causing total destruction of the city until Jonah intervened.
According to some of those predicting some sort of doomsday occurrence on April 8th, there was also a total solar eclipse in Nineveh during that time.

As usual, however, there are a few problems with these doomsday prophecies.
One, the eclipse will actually only pass over two towns named Nineveh, and two, many of the actual, real warnings that are being issued by public officials in various towns are being given due to an influx of visitors putting a strain on these cities’ infrastructures, not because of the eclipse.

Then again, scientists have previously claimed that there is a 50 percent chance that we are living in a simulation and they have recently discovered a law of physics that could help prove we are, in fact, living in a simulation.
So, with the rise of AI and the dangers that it is revealing, maybe these tin foil hat society members are actually on to something.
