Tom Holland, Amanda Seyfried, and Emmy Rossum will star in Apple TV+’s The Crowded Room. And honestly, just those three names alone feel like enough to get us excited about the upcoming ten-episode series. In addition, this suspenseful story comes from the talented Akiva Goldsman. Altogether, we have a sneaking suspicion that thrills and chills lie on the horizon.
Apple TV+ has released first-look photos of the Tom Holland series and shared its official release date. Holland not only acts in The Crowded Room, but he executive produces as well. The show will release its first three episodes on June 9th and then release weekly after that.
In addition to these first-look images, Apple TV+ shares more about what we can expect from this thrilling series. The synopsis for the show reads:
“The Crowded Room” follows ‘Danny Sullivan’ (Holland), a man who is arrested following his involvement in a shooting in New York City in 1979. A captivating thriller told through a series of interviews with curious interrogator ‘Rya Goodwin’ (Amanda Seyfried), Danny’s life story unfolds, revealing elements of the mysterious past that shaped him, and the twists and turns that will lead him to a life-altering revelation.
In addition to Holland, Seyfried and Rossum, the series stars Sasha Lane, Will Chase and Lior Raz along with guest stars Jason Isaacs, Christopher Abbott, Thomas Sadoski and Zachary Golinger.
Watching Amanda Seyfried slip into different characters always feels like a treat. And we can’t wait to see Tom Holland take on a new kind of tangled web. Hopefully this time we can keep the spiders out of it, though.
