The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Monday, August 29, reveals that the “Lina” aka disguised Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) secret made Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) suspicious while Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) got a romantic surprise.
At Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) place, he did his best to rush Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) out the door.
“Lina” joked about Hope making her daddy antsy, so Hope said she’d be on her merry way and told “Lina” it was nice to meet her.
Once Hope was gone, Deacon flew into a rage and ordered Sheila to leave since this was too risky.
However, Sheila argued that she handled it and pointed out that Hope hadn’t recognized her. That made Sheila think nobody else would recognize her either.
Deacon insisted this wasn’t a game, but Sheila knew that and was determined to avoid landing back in prison.
Once Sheila felt Deacon’s heart racing in his chest, she suggested they should take a relaxing shower together and relieve some stress.
After Sheila sauntered toward the bathroom, Deacon looked both pensive and annoyed.
At Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) place, she was with Ridge and Liam when Hope arrived.
Hope found out about Ridge’s earlier confrontation with Deacon and admitted there was a new woman in her dad’s life.
Although Hope didn’t have much of a chance to talk to Lina, she had the strangest sense that she’d met her before.
Hope assumed Lina was waiting for Deacon to get off work when she found her at his apartment.
Brooke was quite curious about Lina, and Ridge seemed to latch onto the fact that Deacon had been keeping her a secret.
Hope didn’t know if they were friends or something more, but Ridge wondered what kind of crazy woman would want to be with Deacon.
At Forrester Creations, Quinn and Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) praised each other’s work before Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) appeared.
Carter eventually shared some alone time with Quinn – complete with a surprise fancy dinner he had delivered.
That led to Quinn talking about how lucky she was to fall in love with such an incredible man.
There was a time when Quinn would’ve balked at all the attention and felt unworthy, but now she could admit she needed it.
Carter found Quinn’s self-awareness brave and confessed that her openness is what attracted him in the first place. When Carter looked in Quinn’s eyes, he saw his whole future.
After some flirty comments and jokes, Quinn encouraged Carter to kiss her passionately.
Monday’s B&B episode wrapped up Rena Sofer’s run as Quinn Fuller, so those scenes served as a tough goodbye.
