The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveal that fans haven’t seen much of Katie Logan (Heather Tom) lately, but she’ll thankfully be back on-screen in the not-too-distant future. It turns out Tom filmed some new scenes as Katie, but she had the added challenge of directing the very same episode.
On Instagram, Tom addressed that challenge – though it seems like she rose to the occasion just fine.
Let’s look at Heather Tom’s post along with a fun comment that Don Diamont (Bill Spencer) left for her.
“Pulling double duty…. Acting and directing on the same day! What else you got?” Tom said before adding a laughing emoji.
Diamont couldn’t resist chiming in with a joke – one that’ll probably amuse all the Bill and Katie fans out there.
“Shoulder massage for your 2X TV ex-husband???” Diamont replied as he showed off his classic sense of humor.
It’s always nice to see B&B stars joking around, especially Diamont since he tends to make a lot of playful comments like this on social media.
On a more serious note, the work Heather Tom put into this episode was no laughing matter!
It’s clear that there was so much to be done between Tom’s excellent acting and the impressive directing she pulled off as well.
Tom also leaked some behind-the-scenes photos, so we should definitely discuss those since they offered some hints about what’s to come.
One of the pics showed Tom giving orders on the Il Giardino set, where Sean Kanan (Deacon Sharpe), Kimberlin Brown (Sheila Carter) and Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan) all seemed to be filming together.
That probably means Deacon will get stuck in some conflict that erupts between Brooke and Sheila eventually.
Sheila and Brooke’s old rivalry may come roaring back, which is great since Sheila needs more than just Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) as a sparring partner.
Another one of Tom’s pics shows her dressed in Katie’s wardrobe as she preps for scenes with Diamont.
It appears Katie and Bill will end up having an important discussion down the road, so we’ll look forward to their material together, too.
