TEEN Mom stars Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra have officially sold their Michigan octagon home a year and a half after putting it on the market.
The U.S. Sun can exclusively report the unusual house often featured on their MTV reality show was finally offloaded for $425,000.
According to real estate records, the property sale was made official on January 31, just a few weeks after finally finding a buyer.
The couple first listed the home in August 2023 for $454,900, six years after purchasing the property.
As The U.S. Sun reported, the Teen Mom couple struggled to make a sale.
They dropped the price twice, and even temporarily took it off the market while they figured out their next move.
The home went into pre-foreclosure in March 2024 after they allegedly failed to pay over $5,000 in taxes on the property.
They eventually paid off the related taxes a few months later.
Catelynn, 32, and Tyler, 33, purchased their current six-acre property in January 2023 for $435,000.
The new property is twice the size of their former residence, and also features a hot tub and finished basement.
Strangely, only Tyler’s name is listed on the mortgage deed.
MONEY TROUBLES
The MTV stars have suffered from financial issues for the past few years.
The couple was hit with a federal tax lien in December 2019 for $321,789.06.
The lien was paid off in early 2023.
Catelynn and Tyler were also hit with a federal tax lien for $535,010.97 for 2016 and 2017 fiscal years, but they paid off the debt in 2021.
The pair has turned to OnlyFans for money, and Catelynn manages Tyler’s account.
They charge fans $30 a month to view his adult content.
Catelynn and Tyler also recently launched a podcast on friend Kailyn Lowry‘s network.
ADOPTION DRAMA
In addition to their real estate and money woes, Catelynn and Tyler have struggled with their decision to place their oldest daughter Carly, now 15, for adoption immediately after her birth. (The couple went on to have three more daughters: Nova, Vaeda and Rya.)
Though they once had regular visits with Carly and her adoptive parents, Brandon and Teresa Davis, Catelynn recently claimed the couple has “blocked” her.
She revealed her regrets over her adoption process in a recent interview.
“I think that I would have made the same choice, because I feel like it took her away from a lot of the traumas and things that I was going through growing up, that she shouldn’t have to go through,” Catelynn told E!.
“But I would make different decisions with my choice.”
“I would have picked a couple that wanted fully open adoption from the get-go. So there are things in my decision that I would have changed.”
