TEEN Mom Kailyn Lowry has fans worried about the star’s health after spotting a concerning detail in a new photo.
The MTV alum gave birth to twins in November and has been flaunting her post-baby figure on social media.

On Monday, Kailyn, 31, shared a carousel of photos on Instagram showing off her outfits lately.
However, one snap alarmed fans, capturing the mom of seven donning black sweatpants, a matching button-down sweater, and sneakers.
She wore her long blond locks flowing in waves while posing in the mirror inside her $750,000 Delaware mansion.
The pic circulated on a popular Teen Mom forum where critics pointed out Kailyn’s noticeably swollen ankles, covered by high white socks.
They shared their concerns that the apparent swelling might be a symptom of a serious health issue.
“Why does her left ankle look so large? I’m so confused by this whole thing,” one person commented in the thread.
“One of her ankles looks gigantic and the other one doesn’t,” someone else echoed.
“My left ankle is always swollen more than the right. Could be fluid retention, circulation problems since giving birth,” speculated another.
DIFFICULT BIRTH
The U.S. Sun exclusively reported in November that Kailyn quietly welcomed twins, although she didn’t confirm the news until last month.
Since then, the former reality star has been opening up about the twins’ traumatic birth and sharing photos of them in the hospital after their arrival.
The newborns were immediately raced to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) following their birth, where they spent some time after coming five weeks early.
She revealed on her Barely Famous podcast with the twins’ father, her boyfriend, Elijah Scott, 25, that her daughter was in the NICU longer than her son, which she had a hard time dealing with.
“I had never seen a baby in my life not wake up to eat or show signs of hunger,” the podcast host said.
“She would just sleep through feedings. She never had any feeding cues, and when I tried to feed her, she wouldn’t take a bottle.
“I cried a lot. I probably cried more with the NICU journey than the c-section stuff,” Kailyn added.
The ex-Teen Mom 2 star had a similar story with her and Elijah’s son, Rio, who also had a difficult birth in November 2022.
Ahead of her twins’ arrival, Kailyn noted that she was “high-risk” and had extreme anxiety throughout her pregnancy.
“I feel like, what are the chances of having healthy babies? You know this is my tenth pregnancy and having twins, high risk — I am considered obese — there’s just a lot of factors,” she previously admitted in a TikTok video.
Kailyn is also a mom to a son, Isaac, 14, with her ex, Jo Rivera; a son, Lincoln, 10, with her ex-husband, Javi Marroquin; and sons, Lux, six, and Creed, three, with her ex, Chris Lopez.
NO MORE KIDS?
She recently announced she’s done having children as she got her tubes tied immediately after her twins’ were born.
Despite this, Kailyn revealed on Friday that she wants more kids, particularly a girl, to give her daughter a sister.
“I just got my tubes tied, and I’m so sad – it’s like a bittersweet feeling because the one thing that I would’ve always wanted if I had a girl was to have another one because I never got close to my sister growing up and I always loved seeing sisters who are best friends,” she told her guest, TLC‘s Unexpected star Tyra Boisseau, on Barely Famous.
“So that’s the one [thing] that I wish I could’ve given my daughter: a sister,” the ex-TV personality added.
She then recognized that some listeners might be shocked by her response, given she finally gave birth to a girl after having all boys.
“I know people are like, ‘Kail, you’re insane. You should be happy you have a girl,’ and I’d be happy if I had all boys. I wouldn’t care. But if I was gonna have a girl, I would want her to have a little best friend,” Kailyn explained.
The young mom has yet to reveal the twins’ names, though she teased the monikers she’s considered.
