Cheyenne Floyd (aka Cheyenne Davis) is showing off her baby bump in a bikini. In a new social media post, the Teen Mom star enjoys a getaway with her family in Los Cabos. “Love this for you!” one of her followers commented. “You look great!” added another. How does the reality star approach health and wellness? Here are her top diet and fitness habits.
Cheyenne doesn’t stress about baby weight. “When I first started posting my pictures after I had him, I was like, ‘Whoa, what? People were so mean!’” Cheyenne told Us Weekly. “Comments were just talking about my weight and stuff and … like, I just had a baby.” She continued to slam the “snapback culture,” saying, “We’re supposed to just look super good right after going through one of the hardest things of your life. So I give myself grace and just know that I’m not who I was a year ago. I’ve now carried two children. I don’t weigh the same. I don’t look the same, but it’s OK.”
Cheyenne is a fan of aesthetic body treatments, including Emsculpt, which builds muscle and tones the body. “I’m losing weight but I can tell my skin is super loose,” she said in a social media post. “Body Vision Lab [treatment center] is helping me get snatched again.”
Cheyenne started “working out again” shortly after welcoming her second child, in hopes of getting in shape for her wedding, she told Us. Each week, adults need 150 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity and 2 days of muscle-strengthening activity, according to the current Physical Activity Guidelines for Americans.
Cheyenne also told Us Weekly that “meal prepping” helps her stick to a healthy diet. However, she admits that she “sometimes” cheats on her routine. There is scientific evidence supporting the benefits of meal planning. Studies show the more meals you eat prepared away from home, the higher your risk of cardiovascular disease, cancer, and early death. And, one study published in the International Journal of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity found meal planning was associated with a healthier diet and less obesity.
During her podcast, Think Loud Crew, Cheyenne revealed that she ended up losing 30 pounds before her wedding. “I realized that when I ordered the dress, I was 30 pounds heavier than what I am now, so I’m starting to freak out about that,” she told her sister, adding that her dress “may or may not work now,” she dished. “Like, there’s a possibility that the dress might not work. And I’m like, ‘great; this is exactly what I needed to hear right now.” Luckily, she ended up fitting into it!
