TEEN Mom star Chelsea Houska and her husband Cole DeBoer had to make a major change to their store Down Home.
Chelsea, 32, and Cole, 36, opened their South Dakota shop less than three months ago on March 22.
On Saturday, it was reported that a vehicle crashed into Down Home as it was crowded with customers.
Fortunately, everyone involved – even the driver – was okay, according to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup.
Unfortunately for the driver, their car took some serious damage.
THE ACCIDENT
A source close to the situation told The Ashley that the person driving the car had a “medical emergency.”

The vehicle hit the front of the building first and broke the store’s front glass windows.
Luckily, the car wasn’t going full speed and was not able to make it through to where employees and customers were shopping.
That same day, the store’s official Instagram account revealed that they would be closed for the remainder of the weekend.
“We will resume normal business hours as soon as possible!” they wrote.
CHELSEA’S RESPONSE
On Saturday, the Teen Mom alum took to the store’s Instagram Stories to share what happened.
While sharing her statement, the former MTV personality was in the car with Cole.
“Everyone is fine. Thank God because, obviously this could have been a lot worse.
“We’re gonna be closed for a couple of days for sure while we figure everything out and get everything fixed.”
THE HISTORY OF DOWN HOME
The DeBoer’s show Down Home Fab premiered on HGTV on January 16, 2023.
In the reality TV show, Chelsea and Cole put their creative skills to the test by renovating and designing homes to meet the needs of their clients.

Get to know more about Chelsea Houska and her husband Cole DeBoer.
Chelsea met Cole at a gas station in South Dakota in 2014.
She admitted that she couldn’t bring herself to say “hi” in real life, but that, luckily, a few days later, he found her on social media.
Two years later in 2016, they got married.
The duo got engaged in 2015 after Cole asked the most important person in Chelsea’s life for permission; her daughter, Aubree.
“Cole asked Aubree if it was okay if he married her mommy,” Chelsea said on the MTV show.
“She immediately said yes, was extremely excited, and gave him a big hug.”
While Cole isn’t Aubree’s biological father, he has certainly stepped up to the plate as her stepfather.
A memorable moment from the Teen Mom 2 show was when Chelsea had Aubree’s last name changed Lind-DeBoer, and Cole reacted by saying he’d adopt Aubree “right now” if it’s what she wanted.
Cole and Chelsea have three children together, in addition to Aubree: Layne, Watson, and Walker.
On March 21, 2024, the show returned for its second season.
The couple shared their appreciation to those watching their show on Instagram.
“We have said it a million times before but truly…a dream. Thank you all for tuning in and always supporting our family. WE LOVE YOU!!”
At the time of the return, the couple – who married in 2016 – were preparing for the grand opening of their home goods store.
Last month, Chelsea and Cole revealed a grand opening event at the South Dakota store that will occur on Saturday, July 13.
They confirmed that while they’ve been open for a few months, they wanted to hold a huge bash celebrating their major achievement
