Taylor Swift is the undisputed biggest pop star in the world, reaching a level of fame that only few in music history like Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Michael Jackson, and Maddona have reached, among others. But, British pop star Ed Sheeran is not too terribly far behind in a list of the current biggest stars in music.
The two have been friends and collaborators for years as two fantastic songwriters. On Thursday, they teamed up once again, this time for a live performance as Taylor Swift winds down the European leg of her record-smashing “Eras Tour” in London, England, at Wembley Stadium.
The two did a quick acoustic performance in the “surprise song” portion of the normal tour set list. They mashed up a Taylor Swift song in End Game, a song by both of them in Everything Has Changed, and an Ed Sheeran smash-hit in Thinking Out Loud.
One concertgoer got the whole thing on video. Take a look.
Naturally, footage of the mashup has gone viral, with millions of views all over social media.
Taylor Swift has five shows scheduled at Wembley Stadium through next Tuesday to finish out this leg of her tour. It’s kind of full-circle for her, as she spent a ton of time in London while dating her ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn. The couple dated from 2017-2023 and broke up during the early stages of the tour.
After this stop is complete, she will be free to watch boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs until mid-October when one final mini-leg through North America commences. The tour ends on December 8th in Vancouver.
