Taking Back Sunday have announced a UK tour for March next year.
The dates in Manchester, London and Cardiff will be in support of the band’s recent ‘152’ album, which remarkably was their first record in seven years.
Produced by Tushar Apte (who the band met through a mutual collaboration, the renowned DJ Steve Aoki), the ten-track LP was inspired by the long layoff and uncertainty that has gripped the world – and especially the music industry – over the past few years.
And now, UK fans will get a chance to see the band play tracks from the new record during a select few dates early next year.
Speaking about the forthcoming shows, the band have said:
“We are very excited to head back to the UK. It’s still amazing to us that we can travel that far away from home and feel the same way we do playing a show close by.
“Folks over there have been so supportive and welcoming and we’re excited to debut some of the new stuff live along with the old favourites. Plus there’s Nando’s so it’s a win-win.”
