Seemingly drained by her Barang character from her last teleserye “Huwag Kang Mangamba,” actress Sylvia Sanchez expressed her resolve to take a hiatus from acting after her latest project, “Misis Piggy.”
“Okay, kaklaruhin ko lang ‘yun. Bago ko naramdaman ‘yung pagka-drain doon, faithful ako doon sa ‘Huwag Kang Mangamba,’ kay Barang. Sobrang ganda ng role pero very tiring nga lang nang sobra,” she said during the online press conference today, April 21, for “Misis Piggy,” a new iWant series.
(Okay, I will just clarify that. Before I felt drained there, I was faithful to “Huwag Kang Mangamba,” to Barang. The role is so beautiful but it was very tiring.)
After doing that series, Sanchez realized she needed a break from teleseryes. But she has previously accepted her “Misis Piggy” role and proceeded with her commitment.
Sanchez feels she needs to take a break not only because the work has been non-stop, but also because she was starting to bring her Barang character to her home. She also feels she is still carrying her Barang character.
“Misis Piggy” also features Ricky Davao, Ria Atayde, Iana Bernardez, Fino Herrera and Elijah Canlas. It will start streaming via iWantTFC on April 25. JB
