Sydney Sweeney’s most recent movie Immaculate, which premiered back in March, is set to begin streaming this month.

According to reports, Immaculate, Sydney Sweeney’s religious horror movie that she produced, will begin streaming on Hulu on Friday, August 16.

Alongside the up-and-coming Sweeney, Immaculate — which has a 71% critics score and a 59% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes — stars Álvaro Morte, Benedetta Porcaroli, Dora Romano, Giorgio Colangeli, and Simona Tabasco, and was directed by Michael Mohan.

Here is the official synopsis for Immaculate, via NEON (who recently scored their highest-ever-grossing film with the Nicolas Cage starring horror Longlegs):

“Sydney Sweeney stars as Cecilia, an American nun of devout faith, embarking on a new journey in a remote convent in the picturesque Italian countryside. Cecilia’s warm welcome quickly devolves into a nightmare as it becomes clear her new home harbors a sinister secret and unspeakable horrors.”

Immaculate reportedly has a shocking ending that will leave you talking regardless of whether you loved it or hated it.

In addition to Immaculate, the last 12ish months have seen Sweeney star in the films Reality, Anyone but You, and Madame Web. She also hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time in her burgeoning career

Later this year, Sweeney will be starring in the Ron Howard-directed film Eden alongside Ana de Armas, Vanessa Kirby, Jude Law, Daniel Brühl, Felix Kammerer, Toby Wallace, and Richard Roxburgh. The film will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.

Sweeney is also attached to the movie Echo Valley, which is in post-production, and a remake of the 1960s Jane Fonda-starring cult classic sci-fi Barbarella, which recently tapped Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Baby Driver, Last Night in Soho) as its director. Her previous credits also include the HBO series Euphoria, The White Lotus, and Sharp Objects.
