Sydney Sweeney is Selling Soap With Her Actual Bathwater

Sydney Sweeney is giving rabid fans what they’ve been asking for with a new limited edition soap infused with her used bathwater in collaboration with natural soap brand Dr. Squatch.

The new soap, which is called “Sydney’s Bathwater Bliss,” smells like pine — or as the official Dr. Squatch Instagram put it, “morning wood.” And yes, each bar is infused with Sweeney’s actual bathwater.

In her previous ads for Dr. Squatch, she addressed viewers as “dirty little boys” while sitting in a bubble bath, prompting horny fans to beg for a drop of her bathwater. Sweeney, who has long grappled with a thirsty male fan base, obliged.

In an interview with GQ, Sweeney said that she was unaware of the “erotic implications” of bathwater until fans began leaving comments in response to her ad.

“Fans always joke about wanting my bath water … I was like, This is just such a cool way to have a conversation with the audience and give them what they want,” Sweeney told GQ. “But then also hopefully encourage them to take care of themselves in a healthy way.”

Sweeney has been subjected to numerous crazy comments, debates, and politicization about her body throughout the years. While she has previously discussed how difficult it is to control her image, she has not let the attention get her down.

“I really believe in empowering others and feeling powerful with your body and embracing your sexuality,” she previously told Glamour. “And if you have boobs, great. Flaunt them.”

When asked by GQ if the bathwater soap is an attempt at regaining some power over her own image, Sweeney said yes.

“It’s funny, and there’s a lot of different plays that are in motion at that time,” she told the outlet. “My hope is that it just gets guys to think about taking care of themselves and cleaning themselves with some healthy products.”

Sweeney’s Dr. Squatch soap bar is not the first product to capitalize on horny audiences’ obsession with used bathwater. Saltburn fans were also treated with a limited-edition vinyl filled with fake bathwater, inspired by the film’s unhinged bath scene with Barry Keoghan.
