Sydney Sweeney is getting heckled in public over the American Eagle ad campaign.

Last week, Sweeney was featured in a viral campaign for American Eagle that focused on her “great jeans.”

“Genes are passed down from parents to offspring, often determining traits like hair color, personality and even eye color. My jeans are blue,” says Sweeney in the ad.

Sweeney’s American Eagle ad faced backlash when people accused it of being propaganda for Nazis, which led the jean company to double down on their stance.

Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans..is and always about the jeans. Her jeans her story. We’ll continue to celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way. Great jeans look good on everyone.”

Over the weekend, Sweeney was confronted by a heckler and called a “racist” over the ad.
