Sum 41 Give Final Ever Performance At Juno Awards

Sum 41 gave their final ever live performance last night (March 30) as part of the annual Juno Awards in Vancouver.

The band ran through a medley of hits old and new, performing ‘Landmines’ from their double album ‘Heaven :x: Hell’ as well as the classics ‘Fat Lip’, ‘Still Waiting’ and ‘In Too Deep’.

Prior to this, the band were also inducted into the Canadian Music Hall Of Fame, presented with the award by their old friends Good Charlotte‘s Joel and Benji Madden.

Accepting the honour, frontman Deryck Whibley said “Thank you to our families for all the love and support throughout the years and, of course, thank you to all the Sum 41 fans for sticking with us through all the ups and all the downs.”

He continued “All the struggles had made all the successes feel that much greater. We’re proud of this journey, it’s been exciting, it’s been dangerous, but most of all, it’s been honest.”

Sum 41 announced their retirement in May 2023, revealing plans to tour the world one more time, playing their last UK date at Cardiff’s Utilita Arena on November 02, 2024.
