Sturgill Simpson combats scalpers
Sturgill Simpson has released a video sharing how he plans to combat scalpers as fans buy presale tickets today.
“The ‘Why Not?’ tour has opted out of using dynamic ticket pricing,” the video says.
“We will be doing everything in our power to keep tickets in the hands of fans and out of the hands of scalpers.
“We are vetting our pre-sale sign ups for bad actors, doing face value ticket exchange, and limited platinum ticketing to combat scalpers and out of control prices.”
Philadelphia prices revealed
Tickets are selling fast for Sturgill Simpson’s show at The Met Presented by Highmark in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
While some mezzanine seats are currently sold out on Live Nation, LOGE tickets are available starting at $108.50 each.
Orchestra seats are available for $152.75 each.
Fans have to ‘settle’
Some Sturgill Simpson fans are having to “settle” for seats they didn’t want due to high demand.
Georgia prices revealed
Sturgill Simpson tickets are starting at $55.50 for his show in Duluth, Georgia.
Floor tickets start at $125 each, while pit tickets have already sold out.
