Time to say goodbye to the Upside Down, as Netflix has confirmed that the final season of Stranger Things will premiere over three installments. Volume One will premiere on November 26th, with Volume Two following on December 25th, and Volume Three airing on December 31st.
The long-awaited Season 5 wrapped filming in December 2024, with series stars Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Brett Gelman and more all returning for one last hurrah.
This won’t be the end of the Stranger Things universe, as creators Ross and Matt Duffer promised earlier this year at a Netflix press event. “There are more Stranger Things stories to tell,” Matt Duffer said in January. “It’s a bit early at this point to talk about them, but we’re deeply involved in every one — it’s very important to us that anything with the Stranger Things name on it is of the highest quality and not repetitive — that it has a reason to exist and always blazes its own path. And also, it needs to basically just be… awesome. Or we need to think it’s awesome. And there are a lot of what we think are awesome things in the pipeline.”
Currently playing on Broadway right now is Stranger Things: The First Shadow, and other spinoff projects are sure to be announced soon. For now, get your first taste of Stranger Things Season 5 below.
