STRANGER Things actress Millie Bobby Brown has secretly married Jake Bongiovi.
Pals close to the couple, who got engaged last year, said 20-year-old Millie and Jake, 22, tied the knot last weekend in the US.
Jake’s rock star dad Jon was there, along with Millie’s parents.
A source said: “Millie and Jake quietly said their vows in America last weekend.
“They are planning a bigger ceremony in the US later this year but now they have legally married and done all the paperwork.
“It was a very low-key, romantic affair with their closest family with them as they said their vows.”
Jake’s dad, lead singer with Bon Jovi, defended their decision to get married young and said they reminded him of when he married his wife Dorothea in 1989, having met as teenagers.
Jon previously said of Millie: “I’ve gotten to know her in the last year, she works really hard, and she and Jake will grow together in their own way.
“It is an accelerated version of what I went through 40 years ago and I think, with the support of family around them, they’re going to be great together.”
Millie and Jake started dating in 2021 before getting engaged last spring.
Jake popped the question by putting a ring inside a shell during a scuba dive.
But the proposal was not all plain sailing. Millie said: “He puts the ring on my hand and as I go to show him, the ring falls off my finger, plummets so fast, it was like a cinematic movie.
“Jake threw himself so deep, the diver was like, ‘You can’t do that, like your ears. Literally your brain will explode.’”
Millie, who played Eleven in the supernatural Netflix drama, said she and Jake had been organising their big day together.
She said: “I have loved every second of it. It’s been an unbelievable journey.
“Every time we have a new wedding meeting, Jake and I take a picture to capture the moment of the planning process.
“He’s loving every second of it. I haven’t been met with a stressful time yet, and I think that’s a reflection on how ready and excited we are to do it.”
