Story Of The Year have shared another piece of their upcoming full-length ‘Tear Me To Pieces’, and it’s an inspiring piece of modern rock.
Story Of The Year are building a defiant collection of tracks when it comes to their upcoming album ‘Tear Me To Pieces’.
The latest of those is ‘Take The Ride’, a driven, affirming take on the challenges that life tries to throw at you.
It says a lot about the character of the band on this record, and how they are using their time together to create a positive and powerful community.
Guitarist Ryan Phillips had this to say about it:
“In the end, ‘Take the Ride’ is a song about surrendering to what life dealt you and embracing the chaos instead of fighting it. The song captures the spirit of finding freedom through a reckless adventure, even if it’s internal.”
You can check it out, set against footage of the band’s appearance at When We Were Young last month:
‘Tear Me To Pieces’ will be released on March 10 via SharpTone Records.
