Today, St. Paul & The Broken Bones announced they’ll set off on a headlining tour across the U.S. with dates through January into February of 2023. The trek is set to properly kick off the new year and will bring the band’s electric and soulful sound to nine esteemed theaters and performing arts centers across the midwest and southeast. During their travels, they’ll be accompanied by special guest Rett Madison.
“It is hard to imagine that we got together a decade ago to record an album in Sheffield, AL in a studio that used to be an old bank. A record that would change our lives,” said frontman Paul Jane way of the tour. “Half The City was an album recorded live with a sense of urgency like we were fleeing from a burning building while playing our instruments. This January – February tour we are going to celebrate that spirit. We are going to play songs from that album we rarely play nowadays and songs we still regularly play. We hope y’all will join us to celebrate.”
The tour will begin on Jan. 27 following their end-of-year tradition of New Year’s performances – this year at the Brooklyn Bowl Philadelphia on Dec. 30 and 31. From there, they’ll continue to travel, hitting cities like Columbia, Mo., Oklahoma City, Baton Rouge, La., Orlando, Fla., and more. They’ll conclude their tour on Feb. 10 in Mobile, Ala.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale Friday, Nov. 4, at 10 a.m. local time, with fan pre-sales available the previous day.
