Who is in the Squid Game season 2 cast?
On June 17, 2023, Netflix announced the returning cast members for Squid Game season 2.

Showrunner Hwang Dong-hyuk teased in a letter to fans: “It took 12 years to bring the first season of Squid Game to life last year. But it took 12 days for Squid Game to become the most popular Netflix series ever.”
What is season 2 about?
Squid Game 2 picks up from the point where Hwang Jun-ho discovers Front Man is his own brother.
After Front Man shoots Jun-ho, his fate is left uncertain.
But the show has been criticized for being “soft” after making a huge change to the series.
There are just two murders in the first episode of the dystopian saga’s return – compared to a whopping 255 in series one’s opener.
Based on season 2’s casting announcement, fans have guessed he survived the ordeal.
The programme’s executive producer Kim Ji-yeon told Tudum: “I know that a lot of the different fans and audiences have enjoyed the series very much but really we’re focusing on how to make it even more joyful to the global audience.
“We are working on the script right now and making the form of the story.
“But there’s definitely a lot of pressure on how to make [Season 2] even better.”
How can I watch Squid Game?
Squid Games 2’s premiered on Boxing Day 2024 and is available to watch on Netflix.
In the run up to the release of the second season, series director Dong-hyuk shared with the Associated Press: “So there’s been so much pressure, so much demand and so much love for a second season. So I almost feel like you leave us no choice!
“But I will say there will indeed be a second season. It’s in my head right now. I’m in the planning process currently.
“Gi-Hun will come back and he will do something for the world.”
In Summer of 2024 he announced that there would be a series three and that will be the last instalment of the show.
The series director said: “I am beyond excited to be writing this letter to announce the date for Season 2 and share the news of Season 3, the final season.
“The fierce clash between [Gi-hun and Front Man’s] two worlds will continue into the series finale with Season 3, which will be brought to you next year.”
