Bristol-based Split Chain have dropped their latest single and announced UK tour dates, set to take place this spring.
Blending shoegaze and nu-metal influences, the band – vocalist Roberto Martinez-Cowles, guitarists Oli Bowles and Jake Reid, bassist Tom Davies and drummer Aaron Black – share a particularly powerful bond after coming together on the road to recovery from addiction.
After rounding off 2024 with a cover of Type O Negative’s ‘I Don’t Wanna Be Me’, which received praise from the doom metal juggernauts themselves, Split Chain are now back with another impressive track.
Have a listen to ‘I’m Not Dying To Be Here’, out now through Epitaph, via the video below.
As well as new music, the band have announced their first headline tour of the UK and Ireland, where they’ll be joined by special guests, Mercury.
