MTV Cribs is back for another season. Somehow this show has spanned over two decades on TV even though MTV stopped showing actual music years ago but still focuses on the lives of some musicians.
In an episode that is set to premiere on Thursday, December 1, reality TV stars Spencer and Heidi Pratt invite MTV into their home to show off their crystals. Yes, their crystals.
The former Laguna Beach, The Hills, and The Princes of Malibu stars have made a long career out reality TV. They’ve had their own shows, appeared on others like Celebrity Big Brother, reboots like The Hills: New Beginnings, they’ve welcomed two children into their family, and somehow they’ve remained as quirky as they were on MTV two decades ago.
Here, they show off their comically large crystals in sneak preview of their MTV Cribs episode.
For folks keeping count at home, that was six large crystals in their home. One of those crystals was the size of an orangutan. I can’t confidently say I have a single crystal in my home and they have six. SIX.
Props to Spencer Pratt for freely admitting he got scammed into the Peruvian volcanic crystal. He said “we were told that it was from a volcano in Peru. We were definitely lied to. It’s for sure from Brazil, out of a mine. But you know, it was a good salesman out there.”
I wish I could say that I’ve been keeping up with recent episodes of MTV Cribs but I’ve missed a few. I’m still living in the glory days of Redman’s episode which is one of the all-time greatest things to ever air on television. If it doesn’t ring a bell, check that out.
