Sophie Habboo is modeling her new collection with USA Pro. In a new social media post the Made in Chelsea star shows off her insane figure in a few pieces from her collaboration with the sportswear line. “My Summer collection is here! ☀️ I hope you love all these pieces as much as I do. This season, we wanted to introduce all-new silhouettes, shades and fabrics to get you ready for the sun, swapping the city life for hiking in the hills and stretching on the shoreline,” she captioned the post. How does she approach diet, fitness, and self-care? Here is everything you need to know about her lifestyle habits.
“I want to feel like my best self and I’m really making an effort at the moment to be mindful, to exercise and to drink lots of water at the moment,” Sophie told Grazia. She adds some essence to make it tastier. “I’ve always had a hard time drinking water that lacks any flavor,” she added, “so drinking the right amount everyday has always been a struggle.” According to the Mayo Clinic, hydration is important for a variety of reasons. Water helps get rid of waste through urination, perspiration, and bowel movements, keeps your temperature normal, lubricates and cushions joints, and helps protect sensitive tissues.
Sophie loves pilates. “I really love it and I’m seeing a lot of results from it, actually,” she told Grazia. “I’m a bit of a cardio junkie so it took me a while to adjust to a more fluid form of exercise, but I’m there now, I’ve bitten the bullet.” Why is pilates a good workout? According to the Mayo Clinic there are lots of benefits to the workout, as it “strengthens the body’s inner core while increasing its flexibility resulting in improved overall health.” It can also promote longer, leaner muscles, injury prevention, relief from stress and back pain, enhanced athletic performance, and heightened mind-body awareness.
Sophie takes baths to relax. “I love putting on a sheet mask, sinking into a warm bath and using an ice roller on my face,” she told Grazia. “I sit there watching YouTube videos for half an hour, it’s a ritual that really helps me calm down and reset.” How can baths do your body and mind good? They have been linked to better sleep and even found helpful to minimize anxiety and depression. One recent study even found that they may even boast cardiovascular benefits.
Another self-care habit of Sophie’s? “I love to go for an infrared sauna, they’re just great and they really help you detox and get rid of any toxins. I go to one in London called 111CRYO and I really recommend it. If not, I’ll have a really cold shower – something like that to wake up the body,” Sophie revealed to Heat World.
Sophie is a reader. “I’m not really into self-help books, but I love nutrition books at the moment and finding out about how nutrition can affect our brains and bodies,” she told Heat World. “Podcast-wise, I’m listening to Deliciously Ella’s Delicious Ways To Feel Better and the current one I’m listening to is ‘How to build a healthy, happy brain’. It’s really interesting.” One Harvard study published in Social Science & Medicine found that people who read books regularly had a 20% lower risk of dying over the next 12 years compared with people who weren’t readers or who read periodicals.
